TRANSFER OF EQUITY ASSISTANT

BROMLEY

UP TO £23,000

This innovative, expanding property based Law Firm are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to provide assistance and support to their Case Preparation team.

They are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to provide assistance and support to the Case Handlers in the Transfer of Equity Team.

 The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities/Duties:-

  • Answering the telephone and dealing with enquires
  • Sending and responding to E-mails
  • Processing incoming documents, responding accordingly, referring any technical post to the case handler
  • Updating clients, customers and brokers
  • Filing, photocopying and printing
  • Ensure that all documents, including the Transfer of Equity packs, are prepared and sent out within the time limits imposed under the service level agreement
  • Obtain Official Copies of property Titles and Plans
  • Be able to check an Official Copy and plan and be able to identify and address any issues
  • Carry out Land Registry searches and deal with any issues which may arise
  • Carry out OS1 Searches on all cases set for completion, ensuring that the relevant date from the last office copy is provided and the priority is given against the correct lender as a charge and no subsequent entries are shown
  • Ensure that all payee details and bank account details are correct. Further, if the borrower initially states in their Questionnaire that they would like their surplus funds to be sent by cheque and subsequently change their mind to TT, or if they change their bank details at any stage of the process, ensure that the bank details have been received in writing prior to completing the case
  • Take EPDQ payments
  • All cases should be dealt with pro-actively and all aspects should be progressed at the soonest possible time

This is a permenant role and the hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
