Job Description:

On Line People Limited are currently looking for a Technical Clerk to work for one of our major clients based in Port Talbot. This is a contract position for approximately 6 months, however will be reviewed after this time. The working hours will be 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The activities involved are:
• Need to increase the capability and governance on spending and control with in HRP
• Apart from raising compliant requisitions it is also a key role in spend/contract governance viewpoint, clerks are fundamental to compliance
• Creation of requisitions to reflect requirements/costs and enable procurement to accurately convert into Purchase Orders
• Ensure requisitions are compliant e.g. competitive quotes/correct supplier/utilisation of contracts
• Validation of charges- checking of timesheets to G4/additional spend authorised (example finding errors by vendors
• Accept and/or create SES/GRN to ensure compliant with agreed payment terms
• HRP point of contact re ex Hires Desk requests
• Trackers- monitor core contractor maintenance spend (future development)
• Single source dashboard- checking data/contacting relevant contractors/HRP personnel to close
• out actions.
• Open order meetings – provide data/attend (in future, facilitate)
• Formulate reports/analyses in order to influence Key Performance indicators
• Group Policies during each stage of the Purchase to Pay cycle and Contractor Governance are followed
• This will also help cover when our existing Clerk is off

Competencies Required:
• SAP MM & PM, general admin, spreadsheets & database, reporting systems
