Support Care co-ordinator – Administrator
Location:
Stratford, London
Type of role: Temporary, Full time 37.5 hours a week
Duration of role: Ongoing 
Pay rate: £9.90 PAYE or £11 umbrella

Overview

You will be part of the new Customer Strategy & Experience team, delivering a warm and friendly service to our client’s individual supporters. Our supporters mean a great deal to us and it’s important you share that passion. This will involve communicating with people over the phone and increasingly via email and social media.

This role will also involve working closely with the fundraising team; communicating to donors about how their support makes a difference, handling complaints effectively, and ensuring donations are correctly logged on our fundraising database. You will also put your persuasive skills into practice, encouraging our donors to continue supporting us by giving them different options and opportunities.  

Supporter Care has only recently joined the Customer Strategy & Experience, so this is a really exciting time to join them, we are looking for someone who is proactive, and able to respond well to the demands of a new department and how this might affect our work.

Job duties

  • Talks to people about what we do and give them great examples from our work.
  • Using Razor’s Edge to track and communicate information
  • Builds effective working relationships to ensure inclusive and collaborative working
  • Finds new and better ways of doing the things within own area of responsibility.
  • Consults with customers, deliver what you say and ensure they are satisfied.
  • Collaborates and communicates regularly and effectively with colleagues taking a different approach when useful.

Qualifications, Training & Experience

  • Experience in customer service
  • Knowledge of Razor’s Edge
  • Administrative experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to be flexible, to work effectively under pressure, and to deal with conflicting priorities
  • Very good communication skills
  • Very good interpersonal skills and experience of working within teams
  • Takes pride in accurate and effective administration
  • Understands the importance of customer care to fundraising
