Our client is an extremely successful business based in the heart of Burton-on-Trent. Due to promotion, they have a vacancy for an Administrator to support the sales function as well as performing general office duties. It is initially a temporary role, but is expected to go permanent at 12 weeks. General duties will entail:
Management and control of customer order processing;
Management and organisation of transporting goods to clients;
Customer account administration and effective credit control;
Ensuring payment of invoices from transport companies;
Updating of sales forecasts and comparison with actual deliveries;
Sending out of invoices and statements;
Purchasing of services and goods for the office;
Ad hoc duties as required.
This role will suit someone who is looking for variety in their work with a degree of responsibility. You need to have experience of sales order processing and account handling as well as basic accounts experience of sales invoicing and ideally, credit control. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate great organisational skills, strong communication ability and will have experience of working to tight deadlines. Additionally, you should be proactive, have an eye for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
