Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Receptionist to join their expanding insurance firm for 9 months. This is a modern forward thinking and vibrant company to work for, who promote an excellent work life balance, offering talented and driven people real career opportunities.

Your role is to provide a professional customer focused Reception and Telephonist service to the companies ensuring efficiency and understanding at all times, when dealing with callers and to undertake administration work when required, to support the Customer Services Unit (CSU).

Overview of Responsibilities:

* To deliver the best possible customer service when dealing with existing or potential customers
* Ensure telephone callers receive prompt, courteous and professional attention and that messages are taken when required and passed on in a timely manner.
* Greet personal callers promptly, courteously and deal with their enquiries in an efficient and effective manner, calling upon other staff as appropriate and ensuring visitors sign ‘visitors’ book upon arrival and departure
* Provide refreshment to visitors on arrival and as required
* Retrieve recorded stored messages from office answer-phone and direct to relevant colleagues
* Provide administration support as directed by CSU Management.
* Monitor stationery levels and generate orders were required.
* Maintain a semblance of order in the stock room
* General office duties, as required
* Administer ASUC scheme, issuing Certificates were required
* Log and distribute all incoming post to relevant departments
* To manage daily outgoing post by collecting, franking and recording for special delivery on day of receipt.
* The duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive and you may be required to undertake other duties that may be required from time to time as requested by management

Experience / Skills:

* Excellent knowledge, understanding and experience of Customer Services
* Good verbal and written Communication skills
* High level of interpersonal skills, with an ability to deal with people at all levels
* Demonstrable ability to use own initiative and flexible in personal approach
* Undertake any other duties as reasonably required.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Salary £15-16k (9 month contract)
