You will be working for…

A business that consists of production companies – The digital Holdings, Record Label Defenders Ent, PR company, Youth charity CYL – Community Youth London, music publishing company DMMP alongside various artists, producers, DJ’s, campaigns and events as each of the companies delivers a client or in-house project/ release/ launch. They are seeking a top calibre, dedicated, punctual, super organised PA / Apprentice to provide executive support to the M.D, ensuring that they are always one step ahead of the boss!

Responsibilities of the Apprentice – In this role, you will be:

– Dealing with online and social media marketing daily (out of hours and weekends included)
– Processing and tracking invoices
– Project assisting/managing
– Staff co-ordinating
– Client managing
– Typing minutes of meetings
– Dealing with complex diary management
– Dealing with client hospitality
– Answering and fielding telephone calls and emails, dealing with queries appropriately
– Book keeping
– Ensuring the building is kept in a presentable state
– Doing other ad hoc duties, day to day, as requested by Director

Requirements of the Apprentice

You will ideally have:

– Confidence
– The ability to multi-task and a low number of personal commitments
– A willingness to travel abroad to meetings and events
– Excellent attention to detail, flexible with work hours/days, think for themselves, and be self-motivated
– Excellent organising ability
– Experience within a media or office environment
– Competency to liaise with clients, some of them being high profile individuals
– A keen interest in the media/music world
– A smart and professional appearance
– 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above

Training available for the Apprentice

Starts with a 12-14 month Business apprenticeship, which consists of 10 days of in-centre training in combination with work-based assessment, covering: IT skills, Customer service, Administration and Complaints handling.

You will gain a City & Guilds Level 3 in Business & Administration. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £25k in a business role.

Additional information

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6.00pm – however; you should be prepared to work flexible hours in the evening and weekends when working on projects and to deadlines
