Description

Our client is a leading global supplier of Life Science products.  They have an opportunity for an experienced Life Science Sales Specialist to join their sales team.

You will be responsible for developing and selling the Company’s life science products to prestigious accounts in the industrial, higher education, government, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare sectors across London and parts of Kent. 

You will maintain and develop business relationships with customers, including decision makers, technical end users, stores managers and procurement professionals.

You could be the ideal candidate for the role if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Science or Biological Sciences subject IS ESSENTIAL;
  • Must have a proven track record in Life Science sales;
  • Broad knowledge of the UK Life Science market;
  • Excellent communication skills, strong customer relation;
  • Good IT skills (MS Office, CRM), SAP knowledge an advantage;
  • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects;
  • High level of Interpersonal skills;
  • Be a Dynamic, self-motivated individual;
  • Full UK driving licence;

The key responsibilities of the role are: 

  • Support the respective sales regions in achieving growth of the Biomarker suppliers;
  • Organise and participate in local customer seminars, exhibitions etc.;
  • Grow GM on Life Science products;
  • Champion new suppliers and technically support and train sales representatives;
  • Be an advocate of Biomarker programme and brand strategy;
  • Display the company’s E’s & V’s traits & values;
  • Participate in local sales trainings/ meetings;
  • Intensive communication with local sales organisation;
  • Provide technical support to general Account Managers, including Telebusiness, Regional Account Managers and Regional Distributors.

PACKAGE

  • £35,000 to £40,000 salary (depending on experience), plus up to 25% bonus OTC;
  • Company car;
