Job Board Account Manager, £35K Basic+Commission

Our clients business is split into two distinct parts – Recruitment Consultancy and a Jobs Board – to enable the business to focus on each operation with their own growth strategies.

The purpose of the Job Board Account Manager is to manage and develop the Job Board by proactively driving revenues and negotiating long term agreements with architect’s practices and recruitment consultants alike. The Job Board Account Manager will drive sales, make proposals for pricing, rate card and packages and assist in setting budgets and forecasting sales.

The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets in line with the financial objectives of the Jobs Board; manage the CMS and upload jobs, logos and images to the Job Board. They will need to work with the marketing and digital teams to establish dashboards for analytics and produce sales support collateral. In addition they will be responsible for assisting with the development of sales plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting calls to existing accounts and potential new customers
• Arrange and attend face to face visits with direct clients, recruitment consultants and ad agencies to promote and sell the Job Board to both existing and potential customers
• Follow up inbound sales calls
• Draft and present proposals
• Provide input into promotional copy for use on the site and media pack and where ever appropriate and required
• Keep accurate client records on the CRM system
• Provide regular sales figure reports as directed
• Liaise with other teams within the group to identify sales opportunities
• Develop upsell packages
• Liaise with production and our software partners to ensure that the site is working effectively and is providing a good user experience
• Provide financial and marketing information to inform the budget and forecasting process

You will be:-

• Experienced digital sales account manager working in a b2b media environment on either a traditional print/digital brand or pure play recruitment site/job board
• Proven track record of consultative selling and exceeding targets
• Building and managing client relationships
• Entrepreneurial character with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience of working with job board websites and CRM systems (ideally Madgex)
• Excellent understanding of the opportunities provided by social media
• Good understanding of analytics for internal and client reporting purposes
