Job Description:

Title: Executive Assistant

Job Summary

This role reports directly to the Managing Director of Technology Solutions primarily supporting the MD, but from time to time also supporting members of the Technology Solutions Executive team. This position requires commitment to high standards, readiness to be a self-starter, use initiative and flexibility to tackle a wide variety of tasks. You will be exposed to sensitive information requiring absolute discretion, be required to work quickly and accurately and be ready to build relationships and influence individuals across the business at all levels.

Responsibilities:

* Support the Managing Director in addressing her short and longer term priorities, providing both proactive and responsive assistance;
* Take on regular and ad hoc requests from the Managing Director, using initiative to consider, explore, analyse, evaluate and prepare draft conclusions on a range of business issues for varied audiences both internal and external;
* Undertake bespoke data analysis (performance, financial and operational analysis) to support discussions internally and with clients;

Draft communications and correspondence to be used and issued on behalf of the Managing director;
* Design and prepare for governance committees, Executive meetings, staff communications events and corporate conferences when required;
* Take a lead on a programme of staff communications and engagement events, helping to develop a range of communication mechanisms for Technology Solutions; participate actively in senior-level discussions related to strategy and business issues as they arise;
* Travel to other offices, as required, to participate in meetings (including regular attendance of team meetings, 1:1s and TS Exec);
* Work closely with others to achieve the required outputs. This might include teams and individuals across Technology Solutions and staff in other functions.

Requirements:

* Experienced and competent in using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Clear communication skills
* Analytical skills
* Problem solving capabilities
* Demonstrate experience of working closely with senior management and/or evidence of the behavioural competencies described above which would enable this to be demonstrated practically.

Key Competencies:

* Demonstrate commercial aptitude and business knowledge preferably from within Employee Benefits;
* Experienced and competent in using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Interested in data and the information that can be generated from good analysis: able to analyse data and draw conclusions, identify trends and exceptions, and present conclusions in an easily digestible format;
* Have good numerical skills and accomplished using spreadsheets.
