The main duties of the E-commerce Assistant are:

* Order Management duties will include: Responsible for monitoring all orders and ensuring service levels are met and orders despatched within online terms and conditions

* Responsible for the daily review of orders, ensuring orders are fulfilled and refunds minimised

* Establishing close working partnerships

* Responsible for email and telephone customer communication

* Provide all online customers with knowledgeable and efficient service and inform the Head of Ecommerce and the Central Teams of customer feedback

* Authorise all online shop transactions using Payment System and to authorise the despatch of goods

* Raise all transfers of stock for online orders in the most efficient and effective way and ensure that all stock is delivered in the agreed transfer time period

* To accurately record customer orders placed by phone and to process through the Online shop

* Monitor stock holding

* Produce reports and analysis of Ecommerce performance, including marketing activity

* Content Support will include: Work with the marketing, buying and merchandise colleagues to develop the presentation and content to maximise commercial opportunities in line with the Company’s branding

* Ensure all commercial opportunities, such as promotions, exhibitions, events, trends, seasonal activity, newness are reacted to and maximised

* Assist with auditing products

* Assist with the preparation of marketing and customer communication

* Assist the Head of E-commerce with prints for the website to help increase sales

The successful candidate will have previous admin experience working in an Online retail environment and have experience of Ecommerce systems. You need to have strong communications skills both written and spoken, high levels of attention to detail, be firm, calm and tactful – especially when dealing with difficult issues. You need to be proactive, have good time managements skills – prioritises and structures workload effectively and have good IT and Computing skills.
