Customer Support Field Agent – Croydon 

We are looking for a Customer Support Field Agent who will visit customers in their homes, in order to either reconnect them with their creditors, or in some cases, conduct face to face interviews.

£24k basic plus a company car.

The successful candidate will provide a professional and informative primary point of contact for all customers/clients whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service.

The role will be home based.  The successful candidate will need to be based in the CR postcodes to service the CR, SM, RH, SW, SE, BR postcode areas.  An excellent knowledge of the local area is essential.

You do not necessarily have to come from a debt management background, however, any experience within field agent work in any sector will be considered, sales for example.

Overview:

  • Need to be personable, 
  • A calm and relaxed person, someone that can break barriers down, not create them.
  • Build rapport quickly and be calm in difficult situations
  • Excellent administration skills – MS Office
  • Debt management experience desirable but not essential, however full training will be given.
  • Experience of working within a field-sales or working within a field agent team is an advantage, however full training will be given.
  • You need to be a good communicator, numerate and have a strong ability to prioritise and coordinate their workload geographically.

This role will cover 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 08.00am and 9.00pm, and possibly some Saturday working. This is a permanent role but is flexible hours.

The role has two main aspects:

  • Arranging and attending reconnection visits or face to face interviews with individuals in their homes who are currently in financial difficulties. In some cases, this may involve discussing their present and foreseeable future circumstances and either proposing or agreeing repayment plans with their creditors.
  • Conducting enquires on behalf of insurance companies with regard to Personal Injury claims and Probate matters.

Main Duties:

  • To process all visits, contacting customers, subjects of claims and relevant third parties in order to obtain information in accordance with client instructions.
  • Manage workload and allocated territory in an efficient and effective manner to ensure service levels, particularly turnaround times are achieved whilst being conscious of work levels, route planning and customer availability.
  • Complete reports via appropriate devices in accordance with client requirements.
  • Treat all customers fairly, professionally and within legislation and codes of practice.
  • Record customer complaints and relevant information accurately in accordance with complaints procedure.
  • Follow established processes, procedures & Best Practice.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Maintain department standards at all times.
