The strategic objectives of this business are to deliver better service, broader coverage and faster speeds to consumers.

About this role:
The Corporate Commercial Partnership Manager will be responsible for driving the performance of a large client account; therefore, impact of this role is share price affecting. The role holder will also be responsible for:

  • managing and negotiating claims relating to compensation,SLGs, billing, etc. typically circa £10m plus;
  • inputting to accurate resource forecasting and resource planning that will affect the ability to meet Ofcom MSLs; and contributing to the £2bn of the £5bn turnover in business products through the management of a major client contract.

You will be working within a corporate function which is responsible for designing and delivering compelling products and propositions for client partners, driving revenue and growth; and managing relationships with customers. Within this function, you will also represent the voice of the customer at all levels and develop meaningful and productive strategic and tactical relationships.

Previous Experience required for this role

  • Previous experience of providing insight to enable accurate sales forecasting and resource planning across a matrix style organisation.
  • High level and in-depth knowledge of the Telecoms sector, typical partners and the industry as a whole, inc people, process, service improvement, commercials, technology and regulation.
  • Knowledge of wholesale Telecom products (e.g. LLU, FTTC, Ethernet).
  • Previous experience of managing all aspects of the business relationship with a strategic partner, to ensure delivery of key objectives and optimal effectiveness.
  • Experience of managing commercial relationships within a politically charged and highly regulated environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Leading and managing Client Partnership Senior Managers, coaching and providing technical support as required.
  • Owning the entire client partnership account and with one of the businesses largest and most significant clients.
  • Operates at all levels in the external client organisation and internally up to MD and CEO level.
  • Regularly influencing senior director to MD level with customer org and ensuring that what the business is doing matches their need.
  • Application of business model and advising/influencing the customer in setting a strategic direction that brings commitment from the customer.
  • Developing a partnership strategy for the client to drive the achievement of revenue, cost, innovation, customer satisfaction and quality objectives/targets.
  • Developing the strategic account plan each year, and accountable for delivering against it.
  • Owning key customer issues that encompass all MD area of the business including, service, product, systems and commercial.
  • Managing client escalations from the Senior Manager.
  • Managing and negotiating claims relating to compensation, SLGs billing, typically circa £10m plus.
  • Overseeing inputs to resource forecasting and resource planning that will affect the ability to meet Ofcom MSLs.
  • Contributing to the turnover in consumer products through the management of a major client contract.
  • Accountable for adherence to required governance relating to the partnership defined by the Board, Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.
