Description

Real Estate client are looking for 2 experienced 1st/2nd Line Support individuals. 

Successful candidates will be responsible to help improve the productivity of employees by being the single point of contact for all support queries.  You will be diagnosing and resolving problems with hardware, third-party and proprietary software, LANs, and servers in a timely and professional manner via telephone, email communication and hands-on support.

Great customer service should be at the fore front of what you do by being a self-starter, problem solver and excellent communicator. You will be able to juggle multiple projects, each urgent and competing for your time. 

Responsibilities of a 1st/2nd Line Support:

  • Provide advice, assistance and follow up on questions, problems or malfunctions of all systems applications, hardware and software.
  • Participate in telephone support rotation providing support to users in across the globe via remote support tools
  • Document problems and solutions in Jira help-desk ticketing system
  • Keep management up to date of potential problems and identifies problem trends
  • Create and maintain workstation images
  • Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, disk drives etc.
  • Install, configure, maintain and upgrade computer and device hardware and software. 
  • Provide support for audio-visual systems including repair and/or replacement of projectors, etc.
  • Provide videoconference administration and support.
  • Maintain and support group wide telecom system
  • Any other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills for a 1st/2nd Line Support

  • IT Degree or a related study
  • Experience in supporting over thousands of users across different sites
  • Implementation of TCP/IP at client level
  • Experience supporting Windows 7 and 10 clients, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite and Windows File Permissions. 
  • Experience supporting hand held devices like iPad, iPhone etc
  • Experience supporting Avaya Phone systems across different sites
  • Ability to lift/move equipment up to 105 lbs
