We are seeking a visual analytics creative who can help our customers picture what is possible.

Experience in the following will be beneficial:

•           Visualising analytical capabilities through design and proof of concepts 

•           Working alongside internal and external partners to capture requirements and deliver more than expected 

•           Working alongside technology, product, UX, marketing and data science teams to quickly expose PoCs, sample data sets, analytics and surfacing new APIs 

•           JAVA script and visualisation libraries and EGD3

Job Purpose: This role reports to the Director of Product Operations and will be responsible for working alongside product, technology, UX, marketing and data science to create new ideas, PoCs and concepts to inspire and challenge our customers. 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

•           Surface and champion opportunities to visualise Cirium’s datasets and analytics 

•           Working alongside product squads to support them to self-publish 

•           Seconding into squads until delivery is complete

•           Working with architecture and data science to ensure the right tools are in place

Key Skills Required:

•           Skilled in breaking down large complex issues into simpler elements that can be effectively addressed

•           Consistently generates creative, resourceful solutions to complex problems

•           Demonstrates a track record of generating, getting approval for and implementing innovative ideas

•           Coaches others on effective communication strategies and techniques

•           Is highly skilled at tailoring messages to the needs of the audience

•           Models teamwork by working effectively with other leaders within the organisation

•           Has earned a high level of trust from other teams and is seen as a collaborative working partner

•           Proven track record in creative data visualisation

Software skills required:

•           Awareness of agile development practice 

•           Technically competent with experience in AWS tools, Tableau and Power BI 

•           SQL or other database/database management tools

Software skills desirable 

•           Statistical or data manipulation languages e.g. R/Python

•           D3.js and React, or similar JavaScript/web-based-graphical technologies
